Danley® Plate Dowel Cradles™ & PD3 Dowel® Cradles
Danley® Plate Dowel Cradles™ and PD3 Dowel® Cradles are well suited for contraction joints in concrete slabs and pavements. As well as efficiently limiting deflection, the 3 metre-long fabricated cradles ensure the dowels are set at the exact height for the specified slab thickness and at precise spacing to minimize installation time.
Danley® Plate Dowel Cradles consist of a plate dowel secured in a fabricated cradle, offering a highly efficient dowel system well suited for contraction joints.

Danley® PD³ Dowel® Cradles are tapered plate dowels assembled into cradles of 3 m nominal length.
• Available in 6 or 10 mm thick dowels spaced at 450 or 600 mm centres, and for slab thicknesses ranging
from 150 to 300 mm
• Tapered plate dowels 300 mm long; made from AS/NZS 3679.1 grade 300 steel
*PD³ Dowel® Cradles have the same load transfer capacities and deflection characteristics as rectangular Plate Dowel Cradles™.
Danley® Square Dowel Cradles & Round Dowel Cradles
SQUARE DOWEL CRADLES
Danley® Square Dowel Cradles are suitable for contraction joints in concrete slabs and pavements. The 3 metre-long fabricated cradles ensure the dowels are set at the exact height for the specified slab thickness, and at precise spacing to minimise installation time.
Square Dowel Cradles consist of a fully welded prefabricated dowel cradle with square dowels and either Dowelmaster® or metal dowel covers.
• Available in 16, 20, 25, 28, 32 and 40 mm dowel sizes
• Available for slab thicknesses from 100 to 300 mm
• Supplied standard 3 m lengths

ROUND DOWEL CRADLES
Danley® Round Dowel Cradles are manufactured to meet the specifications of road authorities throughout Australia and New Zealand, and to the requirements of specific projects. Round dowels of 16, 20, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, and 42 mm diameter to AS/NZS 3679.1 GRADE 300 are available in stainless steel, black,
galvanised and shrink wrapped.
